Why is my Avatar wearing pink?

Why has my avatar changed its t-shirt to pink?
Well, Pink October is a global campaign raising awareness for Breast Cancer. It runs from October 1st to the 31st of the same month.

While I'm not designed to go on marathons, do activities which I'm in awe and jealous of which some people go and go do to raise awareness, I'll be the simpleton and do it in my way. Its not disrespecting anyone. This is my way of showing awareness.
Hearing for the first time as a kid, that your own Mum has breast cancer at a young age. Stupid self just lives in their box just think, Mum is invincible, Mum will destroy anything in her path. Then you get in your earlier twenties, hear the same that Mum has got breast cancer, you start thinking with some added brain cells the overall picture of it.

Even seeing the brutal result of chemo first hand on what's happening to my Mum. This is a very safe worded version on what I said when seeing my Mum the first time after chemo, how has Mum has less hair than me!? That's the short version on when I went on a warpath, everything Mum went through to bring up 5 children, why does she have to suffer?! This is unfair.

Mum as usual self defeated Breast Cancer the second time after a bit of a battle, you don't mess with Mama. I went to get my breasts checked while I was working at the City Hospice in Cardiff, Breast Cancer isn't specific to a gender.

Years gone by, 4th of February 2026, got given the news my Mum has Breast Cancer for the third time, again being my idiotic self and no medical understanding whatsoever being dimwitted, how does one get breast cancer for a third time? Especially twice before there was chemo and surgery done? But sadly got Secondary Breast Cancer, and all this time it lives in the liver and bones.

So briefly, my Mum is doing well on the treatment of Ribociclib.

I'm still being told off for everything so that's one of the good things!
So just be there for your Mum, or anyone close who is going through this. This is a battle I hope someone defeats as while I want to do that, this is out of my reach as I don't have understanding. If this doesn't get defeated than I will through my knowledge of computing and AI, I will go onto the battlefield just to help. I'm surprised we are still fighting this battle against all types of Cancer. We figured it out with Covid-19, why can't we do the same with Cancer?
